            Ilaveezha Poonchira is a beautiful tourism destination on the Kudayathoor Mountain top, on the borders of Idukki and Kottayam district in Keralam, India. The view of Sun rise and Sun set from here is remarkable. There is a freshwater lake from which the place gets its name. The Peringali brook too springs from this mountain top. There are numerous wildflowers, butterflies and other insects here. You can also see the Malankara Lake from here. In the evenings, when the climate is clear you can see the Arabian Sea to the west.
